19-2106a.   Same; maintenance and repair; tax levy,use of proceeds; special fund.The board of county commissioners in any county which has established ahome for the aged as provided for in K.S.A. 19-2106 andamendments thereto is hereby authorized to make an annual tax levy uponall taxable tangible property in the county for the operation,maintenance and repair of said home and to pay a portion of theprincipal and interest on bonds issued under the authority of K.S.A.12-1774, and amendments thereto, by cities located in thecounty. All county home revenues and moneys received pursuant to thissection, except for an amount to pay a portion of the principal andinterest on bonds issued under the authority of K.S.A. 12-1774, and amendmentsthereto, by cities located in the county, shallbe deposited in the home for the aged operation, maintenance and repairfund which fund is hereby created in the office of the county treasurerof such county. For the period of time from the effective date of thisact until January 1, 1974, there shall also be deposited in the home forthe aged operation, maintenance and repair fund funds in the countywelfare fund which have been raised for the purpose of the operation,maintenance and repair of such homes for the aged operated by the countyboard of social welfare immediately prior to the effective date of thisact. All expenditures from such fund shall be for the operation,maintenance and repair of such home.
