Article 22.--LICENSES

      19-2207.   Same; penalties; costs.Any person violating any provisions of the last two preceding sectionsshall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor; and the person actually peddlingshall be liable, whether he be the owner of the goods sold or carried byhim or not, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum notexceeding fifty dollars, and costs of suit; and shall stand committed untilsuch fine and costs are paid, or he be discharged as provided by law. Ifany peddler refuse to exhibit his license to any person requiring a view ofthe same, he shall be presumed to have none, and if he produce a license ontrial shall be held to pay all costs of prosecution.
