Chapter 19.--COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS
Article 22.--LICENSES

      19-2235.   Application for license; filing; information required.(a) Any transient merchant desiring to transact business inany county in this state shall make application for and obtain a license ineach county in which such merchant desires to transact business.

      (b)   The application for license shall be filed with the county clerk andshall include the following information:

      (1)   The name and permanent address of the individual or transientmerchant making the application and, if the transient merchant is not anindividual, the names and addresses of the officers of the corporation or themembers of the partnership, association or other entity, as the case may be;

      (2)   if the applicant is a corporation, a statement of the date ofincorporation, the state of incorporation and, if the applicant is acorporation formed in another state, the date on which such corporationqualified to transact business as a foreign corporation in this state;

      (3)   a statement showing the kind of business proposed to be conducted,the length of time for which the applicant desires to transact suchbusiness and the location of such proposed place of business; and

      (4)   the name and permanent address of the transient merchant'sregistered agent or office.

      (c)   There shall be attached to any application filed pursuant to thissection a copy of the agreement of the registered agent designated by theapplicant as provided by K.S.A. 19-2237 and amendments thereto.
