19-2623.   Same; land for water mains; eminent domain.If said grantee is a corporation, it shall have the right to hold,control, acquire by donation, or purchase, and if need be, condemn anyland, easement, railroad right of way, public highway or any propertyupon which it may be necessary to lay, maintain and operate water mains,laterals, and equipment. If it shall be necessary for said corporationto condemn any land, easement or right of way for the purpose of layingand maintaining said water mains, laterals and equipment, said persons,partnership or corporation shall follow the procedure set forth inK.S.A. 26-501 to 26-516, inclusive.
