19-2657.   Same; annexation of certain land located in urban area;ordinance.(a) As used in this section, the word "city" means the city of OverlandPark in Johnson county which is located in an area which has beendesignated by law as an "urban area."

      (b)   Whenever the owner or owners of any tract or tracts of land, whichis located within territory which has been designated by law as an urbanarea and such tract or tracts of land is so situated that any boundary linethereof touches or adjoins the boundary line of a city the territory ofwhich is within the same urban area, shall file with the city clerk of suchcity a written consent to or request for the annexation of such tract ortracts of land to such city, such tract or tracts of land may be annexedto, taken in and made a part of the city by ordinance.

      (c)   Any ordinance authorized by this section shall describe: (1) Plattedlands by stating the name of the addition or subdivision as platted; (2)unplatted lands by stating the metes and bounds thereof; and (3) thesection, township, range and county in which such platted or unplattedlands are located.
