19-2685.   Same; submission of proposed charter toelectors; adoption.The proposed charter shall be submitted by the charter commission to theboard of county commissioners and the board of county commissioners shallsubmit the proposed charter to the electors of the county atthe general election next following submission of the final report in whichall qualified electors of the county are eligible to vote. In submittingsuch proposed charter to the board of county commissioners, the chartercommissionmay submit alternative sections orarticles to the board of county commissioners. Anyalternative sectionsor articles shall be submitted by the board of county commissioners forapproval or rejection by the electors. Any section or article of a proposedcharter which affects the size or structure of the board of countycommissioners may be submitted at the same election at which the proposedcharter is submitted butshall be submitted as a separate question on the ballot. An affirmativevote ofa majority of the qualified electors voting on the question shall berequired for the adoption of such charter.
