19-2688.   Same; action to recover.Whenever any personal property referred to in K.S.A. 19-2687shall be claimed by any person or persons, the county attorney ordistrict attorney of said county shall investigate such claim and, ifsatisfied that said property is being claimed without legal right, shallcommence an action in the proper court for the purpose of obtainingpossession of said property in behalf of such county or for the valuethereof.
