19-2692. Coliseum concessions fund in certain counties; payment ofexpenses of concessions operation.The board of county commissioners of any county having a population ofmore than three hundred thousand may establish and maintain, in a banklocated in such county, not to exceed ten thousand dollars in an imprestfund, known as the coliseum concessions fund, from which the expenses ofthe various concessions operated by the coliseum may be paid. Thecoliseum director of any such county shall have authority to pay moneysfrom such fund for expenses incurred by the coliseum in the operation ofconcessions, by check drawn on the fund and signed by the coliseumdirector. All receipts from concession operations, after payment ofexpenses, shall be deposited in the fund, and the balance in excess ofthe maximum amount authorized in such fund shall be transferred by thecounty treasurer to the special recreation facilities fund created underK.S.A. 19-2692a for the purposes of budgeting for andoperating a coliseum.
