19-2699.   Cloud county fair board; membership;qualifications;election; term; vacancies; officers.The county fair board of Cloud county shall consist of 12members. An annual meeting for appointment ofmembers of thefair board to succeedmembers with expiring terms shall be conducted in Decemberby the presiding county commissioners.At the annual appointment meeting, one member of theboard shall be appointed, if possible, from each countycommissioner district and one member shall be appointedfrom the county atlarge. Any person of legal voting age and residing in the countyshall be eligible for membership on the board.

      Except as hereinafter provided the term of office of each member shall bethree yearscommencing January 1 and ending December 31. Members of the board shallbe eligible to serveunlimitedconsecutive terms. Vacancies in the membership of the board shall befilled by appointment by the remaining members of the board for theunexpired term of office. Members of the board shall elect from among itsown members a president, vice-president, secretary andtreasurer.
