19-27a10. Sewage received from other districts; apportionment of cost;
assessment among districts.
If any main sewer is located so that it receives or may
receive sewage from more than one district, the board may provide that the
cost of the main sewer below a designated point be divided among the districts
in proportion to the benefit received. The proportion of the cost shall
be assessed against the district as provided by K.S.A. 19-27a07.
The board shall (a) designate the point in the line of the main sewer below
which the provisions of this section apply; (b) describe the proposed
location of the main sewer from such point to the outlet of the same or
to the county boundary; (c) state the method of the payment of the cost
of the main sewer by the benefiting districts; and (d) the proportion of
the cost to be assessed against each district.
