Article 27.--PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS; IMPROVEMENT AND SERVICE DISTRICTS

      19-2721.   Street lights without city limits; contracts.That the board of county commissioners of each county in this stateshall have power to enter into contracts for a term not to exceed twentyyears with another or others for the electric lighting of streets and/orhighways or parts of streets and/or highways lying outside the limits ofincorporated cities, subject to the provisions of this act, whenever in thejudgment of the board of county commissioners of any county the lighting ofsuch streets and/or highways is reasonably necessary to promote the publicconvenience, welfare, and safety, and if of special benefit to the propertyaffected.
