19-2723.   Same; petition.No board of county commissioners shall make any contract for lightingunder this act unless a petition in writing asking for such improvementshall be presented to such board of county commissioners signed by theowners of a majority of the front feet of the land abutting on the streetor highway or a portion of the street or highway proposed to be lighted.
