19-2834.   Establishment of parks and recreational grounds incertain counties.The board of county commissioners of any county having a population ofnot less than eleven thousand (11,000) people nor more than fourteenthousand (14,000) people and a valuation of not less than eighteenmillion dollars ($18,000,000) nor more than thirty-five million dollars($35,000,000), may acquire land and property for the establishment andconstruction of lakes, dams, parks and recreational grounds within suchcounty, and may purchase or acquire title to necessary lands andproperty by donation, devise, bequest or condemnation proceedings in themanner set forth in K.S.A. 26-501 to 26-516, inclusive.
