19-2835.   Cooperation with department of wildlife and parks.The board of county commissioners of any such county shall have theright to aid, assist, furnish and pay for a part or the whole of any realestate or property or constructing the whole or a part of any dam orconstruction work deemed by them necessary or proper in the aiding orassisting the Kansas department of wildlife and parks in the acquisition ofa lake, park and recreational site or sites and in theconstruction of dams, lakes and reservoirs or construction work thereon, soas to insure the completion of a lake, park or recreational grounds in suchcounty. The control and direction of the construction work shall be asdetermined by the board of county commissioners and the department shouldthe department be in wholeor in part interested in such project as such. The title to such realestate or part of such real estate as may be paid for exclusively by suchboard of county commissioners shall be taken in the name of the county orin the name of the state of Kansas, as the board of county commissionersand the department may agree, but the real estate paid for exclusively bythe county shall revert to the county should such project ever be abandonedas a park or recreational project.
