19-2857.   County park and recreation fund; annual budget;disbursements.There is hereby created in the treasury of the county a fund to be knownas the county park and recreation fund. All moneys raised from taxes forpark and recreation purposes shall be credited to this fund. All moneysraised as the result of contracts, leases, concessions, gifts or otherwisein the operation of the said county parks, parkways, lakes and recreationalareas, shall be credited to the county park and recreation fund. The countyboard of park commissioners shall meet on or before the first day of Junein each year for the purpose of preparing the county park and recreationbudget, which budget shall be filed with the board of county commissionerson or before the fifteenth day of June in each year. The board of countycommissioners shall examine such budget and if the same shall be within thelimitations of the statutes the board of county commissioners shall approvethe same and cause such ad valorem levy to be made as provided by law.Disbursements of the fund thus created shall be by voucher, approved by thecounty board of park commissioners, and signed by the president orvice-president and the manager of the county board of park commissioners,which vouchers shall be paid in the same manner as are other countyvouchers, and shall be subject to the same auditing procedure as are othercounty vouchers.
