19-2864.   Same; officers of board; oath; bonds.The board shall hold its annual organizational meeting at the firstregular session of the board held in December each year at which timethe board shall meet and organize by election from its own members of achairperson, a vice-chairperson, a secretary, an assistant secretary, atreasurer and an assistant treasurer. The officers as elected shallassume their office immediately following the election of all officers.All members and the officers of the board whenever appointed or electedshall take oaths as prescribed for other public officials. Thesecretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer shalleach give to the park district a corporate surety bond conditioned forthe faithful performance of duty and for the true and faithfulaccounting for all money that may come into their hands by virtue oftheir position in such sums as the board shall determine by resolution.When bonds are issued the board may require the giving of additionalcorporate surety bonds in such sums as the board shall determine byresolution. The premiums on such bonds shall be paid by the parkdistrict. Such bonds shall be approved by the board and filed by thechairperson with the county clerk.
