19-2889. Same; acquisition of real estate; eminent domain.
The park board in the name of the district shall have power to accept by
gift or devise or to purchase or to condemn real estate lying within the
county. The county park district is hereby given the power of eminent
domain and any exercise thereof shall vest fee simple title to the real
estate in the park district. The proceedings for condemnation shall be
as provided by article 1 of chapter 26 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated
and amendments thereto.
