19-3a02. County administrator; procedure to establish office.(a) The board of county commissioners of any county may adopta resolution establishing the office of county administrator.
(b) The board of county commissioners of any county may adopt a resolutionsubmitting to the voters of the county whether the county should adopt aresolution establishing the office of county administrator. Such resolution toestablish the office of county administrator shall not be effective until thequestion has been submitted to and approved by a majority of the voters of thecounty voting at an election thereon. Such election shall be called and heldin the manner provided by the general bond law.
(c) Upon presentation of a petition requesting the establishmentof theoffice of county administrator signed by at least 5% of the qualified electorsof the county, the board of county commissioners shall adopt a resolutionestablishing such office. Such resolution shall not be effective until thequestion has been submitted to and approved by a majority of the voters of thecounty voting at an election thereon. Such election shall be called and heldin the manner provided by the general bond law.
