19-3004.   Same; renting of county equipment; tax levy for unpaidamounts.Said boards of county commissioners are authorized, in addition to theauthority granted in K.S.A. 68-141a, torent or hire to owners of land in the county for drought-reliefpurposes, county trucks, machinery and equipment, under supervision ofits operators or employees and upon the agreement of said person to payinto the treasury of said county for credit to proper funds of saidcounty, the amount charged for use of the equipment. All such unpaidamounts outstanding on September 1 of each year shall become a lien uponthe entire contiguous tract of land owned by such person upon which saidworks were performed, and the county clerk shall spread upon the taxroll prepared by him, the balance of the amount due as shown bystatement supplied by its operator, and the amount of said lien shall becollected as other taxes.
