19-3101.   Donation of cemetery lands bycities; ordinance; donation of cemetery land by township.(a) The governing body of any city may donate and convey to thecounty in whichsuch property is located any lands or propertywhich it has acquired for cemetery purposes or which is now being used as acemetery by such city. Such donation and conveyance shall be made by thepassage of an ordinance by the governing body of such city. The board ofcounty commissioners of any such county may accept such donation andconveyance by the adoption of a resolution by the board of countycommissioners providing for such acceptance.

      (b)   The township board of any townshipmaydonate and convey to the county in which such property is located any lands orproperty which the townshiphas acquired for cemetery purposes or which is now being used as acemetery by such township. Such donation and conveyance shall be made bythe adoption of a resolution by the township board. The board of countycommissioners of any such county may accept such donation and conveyanceby the adoption of a resolution by the board of county commissionersproviding for such acceptance.
