19-3434.   Conduct of elections; cooperation.The purpose of this act is to take from the county clerks, city, schooland township officers, in the counties to which this act applies, all powerand authority now exercised by them in relation to the supervision, conductand control of elections within each county to which this act applies, andit is hereby made the duty of all public officials to cooperate fully withthe election commissioner in response to any written request made to themby said election commissioner to the end that the declared purposes of thisact be made fully effective.
