19-3546.   Definitions.For the purposes of K.S.A. 19-3545 to 19-3556, inclusive, and amendmentsthereto: (a)"Public agency" shall mean: (1) Any county, township, city, town, waterdistrict or other municipal corporation, quasi-municipal corporationor political subdivision of this state or any state adjacent to thisstate; or (2) any agency or instrumentalityof this state or any state adjacent to this state; or (3) any agencyor instrumentality of the United States.

      (b)   "District" shall mean any public wholesale water supply districtorganized pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 19-3545 etseq., and amendments thereto.
