19-3546. Definitions.
For the purposes of K.S.A. 19-3545 to 19-3556, inclusive, and amendments
thereto: (a)
"Public agency" shall mean: (1) Any county, township, city, town, water
district or other municipal corporation, quasi-municipal corporation
or political subdivision of this state or any state adjacent to this
state; or (2) any agency or instrumentality
of this state or any state adjacent to this state; or (3) any agency
or instrumentality of the United States.
(b) "District" shall mean any public wholesale water supply district
organized pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 19-3545 et
seq., and amendments thereto.
