19-502.   Condition of bond.The condition of such bond shall be in substance as follows: "Whereas,the above bounden ______ was elected to the office of county treasurer ofthe county of _________, on the ____ day of _______; now, therefore, thecondition of this obligation is such, that if the said _________ and hisdeputy, and all persons employed in his office, shall faithfully andpromptly perform the duties of said office, and if the said _________ andhis deputies shall pay, according to law, all moneys which shall come tohis hands as treasurer, and will render a just and true account thereofwhenever required by said board of commissioners or by any provision oflaw, and shall deliver over to his successors in office or to any otherperson authorized by laws to receive the same, all moneys, books, papersand other things appertaining thereto or belonging to his said office, thenthe above obligation to be void; otherwise to be in full force and effect."
