19-6a02.   County controller; bond, conditions; premium.Within ten (10) days after receiving a certificate of the orderappointing him to the office of county controller, it shall be the dutyof such person to file with the county clerk, a bond in an amountprescribed by the board of county commissioners. Such bond shall be acorporate surety bond executed by a bonding company authorized to dobusiness in the state of Kansas and conditioned that the controller willfaithfully perform the duties of his office. The premium on said bondshall be paid by the county.
