19-604.   Records; office.It shall be the duty of such county auditor, immediately upon hisqualification as hereinbefore provided, to furnish himself with suchrecords as may be necessary, and keep the same in some safe and convenientoffice, the expense of which shall be borne by the proper county, and tokeep his office open for transaction of business as other county officesare kept according to law.
