Article 1.--STATE AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL SOCIETIES AND FAIRS

      2-129e.   Tax levies for fair purposes in certain counties; use of proceeds.The board of county commissioners of any county, to which the provisionsof K.S.A. 2-129 apply, having a population of more than fourteenthousand (14,000) and not more than seventeen thousand (17,000) andhaving an assessed valuation of more than fifty million dollars($50,000,000) may make an annual tax levy upon all of the assessedtaxable tangible valuation of such county for fair purposes and to pay aportion of the principal and interest on bonds issued under the authorityof K.S.A. 12-1774, and amendments thereto, by cities located in the county but such taxshall not exceed a rate of one-half (1/2) mill.

      This act is supplemental to the provisions of K.S.A. 2-129.
