2-144.   Fair board; how appointed; organization.The county free fair shall be managed by a board of seven members, fourof whom shall be appointed by the governing body of the city and threeof whom shall be appointed by the board of county commissioners of thecounty in which the city is located, one from each commissionerdistrict. In any county having more than three county commissioners, theboard of county commissioners may appoint a member to the fair board fromeach commissioner district.The fair board shall select a chairperson and treasurerfrom its membership and mayappoint such other officers as may be necessary.
