2-145a. Tax levies for fair building in certain counties.The board of county commissioners of a county having a population ofmore than fourteen thousand (14,000) and less than fifteen thousand(15,000) with an assessed tangible valuation of more than forty milliondollars ($40,000,000) is hereby authorized to make a tax levy upon all ofthe assessed taxable tangible valuation of the county for the purpose ofraising funds to retire indebtedness of the fair building owned by the fairboard association in such county; but such tax levy shall not exceed a rateof one-fourth (1/4) mill and shall be made only once. Said tax levy shallbe in addition to all other tax levies authorized or limited by law andshall not be subject to nor within the aggregate tax levy limit prescribedby K.S.A. 79-1947 or acts amendatory thereof or supplementalthereto.
