2-1111.   Penalty for violation of preceding section.If any track buyer of live poultry, any truck buyer of live poultry, anytrader in live poultry, and any local buyer of or dealer in live poultryshall neglect or refuse to keep and preserve such memoranda, and producesuch memoranda on the demand of any peace officer to whom a theft ofpoultry has been reported, he or she shall be deemed guilty of amisdemeanor and on conviction in any court of competent jurisdiction shallbe fined in a sum not exceeding $100 or be imprisoned not exceeding thirtydays in the county jail or both such fine and imprisonment.
