2-1112.   Fraudulent examination of records; penalty.Any peace officer attempting to make examination of records kept underthe requirements of this act without being able to show that a theft ofpoultry has been reported to him or her and that he or she is engaged inthe performance of duty in searching for a thief or thieves, or any peaceofficer making a fraudulent examination of the records kept under therequirements of this act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and uponconviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 orimprisonment in the county jail for a period of not less than thirty days.
