2-1317. Conferences; reports to state
board.
The secretary of agriculture or the secretary's duly
authorized representative and the local district or county weed supervisor
shall confer, at such time or times as seems necessary and advisable, with
persons and associations of persons, the secretary of transportation, the
board of county commissioners, the township boards or other boards and the
governing body of cities, railroad companies or other corporations, or
their authorized agents, as to the extent of noxious weed infestation on
their lands, and the methods deemed best suited to the control and
eradication of each kind of noxious weeds within their respective
jurisdictions. The county commissioners and the governing body of cities,
shall report to the secretary of agriculture as to
the
extent and the official methods of control and eradication of noxious weeds
to be undertaken in any one season in their jurisdiction, subject to the
approval of the secretary.
