Article 13.--WEEDS

      2-1317.   Conferences; reports to stateboard.The secretary of agriculture or the secretary's dulyauthorized representative and the local district or county weed supervisorshall confer, at such time or times as seems necessary and advisable, withpersons and associations of persons, the secretary of transportation, theboard of county commissioners, the township boards or other boards and thegoverning body of cities, railroad companies or other corporations, ortheir authorized agents, as to the extent of noxious weed infestation ontheir lands, and the methods deemed best suited to the control anderadication of each kind of noxious weeds within their respectivejurisdictions. The county commissioners and the governing body of cities,shall report to the secretary of agriculture as totheextent and the official methods of control and eradication of noxious weedsto be undertaken in any one season in their jurisdiction, subject to theapproval of the secretary.
