2-1438.   Unlawful acts; penalty.It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, association or corporation toissue, make, use or circulate any certification, or evidence ofcertification as defined in this act, without the authority and approval ofthe duly authorized agency or agencies of the Kansas state university ofagriculture and applied science as herein provided. Every person, firm,association, or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of thisact, or any of the rules and regulations based hereon, shall be deemedguilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in anysum not exceeding five hundred dollars or a jail sentence of not more thansixty days, or both.
