2-1438. Unlawful acts; penalty.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, association or corporation to
issue, make, use or circulate any certification, or evidence of
certification as defined in this act, without the authority and approval of
the duly authorized agency or agencies of the Kansas state university of
agriculture and applied science as herein provided. Every person, firm,
association, or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this
act, or any of the rules and regulations based hereon, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any
sum not exceeding five hundred dollars or a jail sentence of not more than
sixty days, or both.
