2-2003.   Data and information to becollected.To carry out and make effective the purposes of this act it is herebymade the duty of the secretary ofagriculture to collectfrom all available sources data and information respecting soil erosion,dust storms and plant or weed blowing and practical methods ofpreventing or minimizing them byplanting or cultivating the soil, with particular reference to thedifferent kinds of planting and types of cultivation most suitable to therespective types of soil in the different parts of the state taking intoconsideration topography and climatic conditions thereof, and mosteffective to accomplish the principal purposes of this act, and to transmitsuch data and information to the respective boards of county commissioners,members of the legislature, the governor, and make the same available tothe general public.
