Article 21.--PLANT PESTS

      2-2122.   Revocation of live plant dealer license;notice and hearing.If it is found that any live plantdealer licenseissued by the secretary is being used in connection withliveplants which do not meet the quarantines and regulated nonquarantine pestfreedom standards established by the secretary, or otherprecautionary measures prescribed by the secretary under the provisions ofthis act and amendments thereto, or if it is found that any liveplantdealer's license is being used by a person other than the one to whom itwas issued, the secretary may require the owner of thelicense to appear for a hearing, on a specified date, to be conducted inaccordance with the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure actto show cause why the license should not be revoked. If,after such hearing, the secretary finds that such license has been wrongfullyused in one or more of the ways specified inthis section, or if the owner of such license fails toappear at such hearing, the secretary may issue an order revoking suchlicense.
