2-2123.   Unlawful to ship live plants or otherarticles not in compliance with act; tags or labels; electronic or mail ordersales.It shall be unlawful to deliver, transport or ship into or within thisstate liveplants or other regulated articles which are not in compliance with theprovisions of this act. Any such live plantsintended for resale and anysuch live plants transported by public carriershall have attached toeach quantity or package a tag or label on which shall appear a copy of avalid document issued by the properofficial of the state,territory, district or country from which it was shipped, sent,or broughtshowing that such live plants are in compliance with Kansas quarantines andregulated nonquarantine pest freedom standards. Live plants brought intothe state under a document, asrequired by this section, may be sold and moved under a valid Kansasliveplant dealer license, and this shall not precludeinspection by the secretary at any time within the state. Electronicor mail order sales of live plants are subject to the provisions of this act.All regulated articles shipped or moved into Kansas shall be accompanied byvalid documentation issued by the proper official of the state, territory,district or county [country] from which it was shipped or moved showingthat theregulatedarticle is in compliance with Kansas quarantines or pest freedom standards, orboth, established for such article.
