2-2125. Penalties for violations.
(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be
deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of
not less than $25 nor more than $500.
(b) The secretary may assess a civil penalty against any person who
violates or fails to comply with the requirements of this act of not less than
$100 nor more than $1,000 per offense. In the case of a continuing offense,
each
day the violation continues may be deemed a separate violation. Such civil
penalty may be assessed in addition to any other penalty provided by law. Such
assessment shall be made in accordance with the Kansas administrative
procedure act.
