2-2474.   Same; public hearing concerning designation; notice.Notwithstanding the provisions of K.S.A. 2-2475, beforedesignating any pesticide management area, the secretary shall hold apublic hearing at which any interested party may appear and be heard inperson or by attorney. Notice of the hearing shall be given by apublication in the Kansas register and by three publications in a newspaperor newspapers of general circulation within the area in question within the30-day period prior to the date set for the hearing. The notice shall statethe proposed boundaries of the pesticide management area and a summary ofthe proposed pesticide management plan to be applied within the proposedpesticide management area.
