Article 25.--KANSAS EGG LAW

      2-2513.   Balut; refrigeration and labelingrequirements.(a) Balut must be refrigerated upon removal from incubationand maintained at a refrigerated temperature of 45° Fahrenheit, or less,while transported, stored or held for retail sale.

      (b)   Each container of balut shall be clearly andconspicuously labeledto inform the consumer thatthe product is an embryonated egg or such other term or phrase that isinformative and not false or misleading.

      (c)   The provisions of this section shall be part of and supplemental to theKansas egg law.
