2-3008.   Assessments; collection; deposit incommission account; security for accounts.(a) Theassessment imposed pursuant to this act shall onor before the 20th day ofthe calendar month following the date of settlement be paid by the purchaserto the secretary. The secretaryshall issue areceipt to thepurchaser for such assessment.The secretary shall deposit all moneys received in payment of such assessmentin a bank account established in the name of the commission in accordance withthe provisions of this act.

      (b)   Each bank account used in operating and conducting the commission'sduties shall be secured by a pledge of securities in the manner prescribed forstate bank accounts as provided under K.S.A. 75-4218, and amendmentsthereto.
