2-3711.   Kansas agricultural remediation fund;creation.(a) There is hereby created in the state treasury the Kansasagricultural remediation fund.

      (b)   All expenditures from the Kansas agricultural remediation fund shall bemade inaccordance withappropriation acts upon warrants of the director of accounts and reports issuedpursuant to vouchersapproved by the chairperson of the board or by a person or persons designatedby the chairperson.

      (c)   On or before the 10th of each month, the director of accounts and reportsshall transferfrom the state general fund to the Kansas agricultural remediation fundinterest earningsbased on:

      (1)   The average daily balance of moneys in the Kansas agriculturalremediation fund forthe precedingmonth; and

      (2)   the net earnings rate of the pooled money investment portfolio for thepreceding month.
