2-504.   Lands for demonstration farms; contracts for demonstrationwork.The board of county commissioners of any county in this state in whichan agricultural demonstration farm has been or shall be hereafter located,with the consent of such board of county commissioners, by the board ofregents, is hereby authorized to lease or donate to the board of regentsany portion of lands owned by said county, not exceeding forty acres inextent, suitable for use in demonstrating the value of crops and methods infarming, gardening, horticulture and forestry, and to contract for thecarrying on of such demonstration work under the plans, direction andsupervision of representatives of the board of regents.
