20-1a02. Examination of certified shorthandreporters; use anddisposition of moneys received; court reporters fee fund; expenditures;compensation of board of examiners.The clerk of the supreme court shall remitall moneys received by or for suchclerk from applicants forexamination for certified shorthand reporterto the state treasurer in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215,andamendments thereto. Upon receipt of each suchremittance, the state treasurer shall deposit the entire amountinthe state treasury. Twenty percent of each such deposit shall becredited to the state general fund, and the balance shall be credited tothe court reporters fee fund. All expenditures from such fund shall be madein accordance with appropriation acts upon warrants of the director ofaccounts and reports issued pursuant to vouchers approved by the chiefjustice of the supreme court or by a person or persons designated bythe chief justice.Compensation of members and other actual and necessary expenses of thestate board of examiners of court reporters shall be paid from such fund asauthorized by the rules of the supreme court.
