20-911. False certificate or omission of portion of notes; penalty. That if any court stenographer shall purposely and falsely certify to orshall falsely verify his notes, or omit from his notes any portion of theproceedings relating to the matter called for by the party desiring to usethe same, he shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punishedby a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, or imprisonment in thecounty jail for not more than six months, or by both such fine andimprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
