3-118.   Additional airports or fields in certain cities.Any city now or hereafter operating a municipal airport or municipalfield for aviation purposes pursuant to K.S.A. 3-114 may, whenever in theopinion of the board of park commissioners or airport authority of suchcity the public safety, service and welfare will be advanced thereby,acquire within or without the city limits, by purchase, lease or otherwise,and equip, improve, operate, maintain and regulate additional orsupplemental municipal airports or municipal fields for aviation purposes.
