3-171.   Same; contracts of board of directors with city or county forpolice protection.The board of directors of the airport authority may enter into contractswith the county, or any city located in the county in which the airportauthority is located, for the purpose of providing special police protectionby any such city or county on property owned, managed or controlled by theairport authority. While on property owned, managed or controlled by theairport authority, all duly qualified law enforcement officers of any cityor county contracting with the airport authority shall have all of the powersand authority herein granted to law enforcement officers appointed by theairport authority.
