3-307b.   Same; powers of commission.The airport commission so appointed shall be vested with the authorityand control over public airports operated by the county, including anybuildings, grounds, and other airport structures located anywhere withinthe county. Said commission may employ legal counsel, engineers, architectsand other personnel necessary to carry out duties prescribed by this act;and are further empowered to contract for, buy and sell real and personalproperty for airport purposes, and to do all things necessary to properlycarry out the duties provided for by this act.

      Powers conferred on the airport commission by this act may be exercisedonly with the approval of the board of county commissioners, and allexpenditures made pursuant to this act shall be within available resources.The board of county commissioners is authorized to delegate powersconferred upon said commissioners by article 3 of chapter 3 of the KansasStatutes Annotated, as amended, to the commission in accordance with thepowers of this act.
