3-405.   Same; rights andduties of cities; eminent domain.Such cities are hereby granted the same rights, privileges andimmunities, and are charged with the same obligations, responsibilities andduties toward lands acquired under the provisions of this act locatedoutside the limits of such cities as now exercised for any property locatedwithin the limits of any such city. In acquiring lands under the provisionsof this act, such cities or either of them shall have the right of eminentdomain and the same shall be exercised in the manner prescribed by K.S.A.26-501 to 26-516, inclusive.
