4-138.   Effect of act.The provisions of this act shall not affect the term of anyrepresentative to congress elected to represent a district at the generalelection of 2000 or the term of any successor elected tosucceed suchrepresentative for an unexpired term, and all such representatives shallcontinue to serve the districts from which elected until the representativeselected from the congressional districts established by this act commence theirterms of office in January, 2003.
