4-4,452.   Units on which districts based.(a) As used inK.S.A. 2009 Supp.4-4,451 through 4-4,493, and amendmentsthereto,"votingdistrict,""tract," "block group" or "block" means, respectively, a voting district (VTD),tract, block group or block identified on the official United States 2000decennialcensus maps.

      (b)   Voting districts, tracts, block groups and blocks are referred to inK.S.A. 2009 Supp.4-4,451 through 4-4,493, and amendments thereto, by thealphanumeric code bywhichthey are identified on the official United States 2000 decennial census mapsand datalists.

      (c)   The boundaries of counties, voting districts, tracts, block groups andblocks referred to inK.S.A. 2009 Supp.4-4,451 through 4-4,493, and amendmentsthereto, are thoseboundaries as they exist and are identified on the official UnitedStates 2000decennial census maps.
