5-409.   Change of award by arbitrators.On application of a party or, if an application to the court is pendingunder K.S.A. 5-411, 5-412 or 5-413, on submission to the arbitrators by thecourt under such conditions as the court may order, the arbitrators maymodify or correct the award upon the grounds stated in paragraphs (1) and(3) of subsection (a) of K.S.A. 5-413, or for the purpose of clarifying theaward. The application shall be made within twenty (20) days after deliveryof the award to the applicant. Written notice thereof shall be givenforthwith to the opposing party, stating he or she must serve objectionsthereto, if any, within ten (10) days from the notice. The award somodified or corrected is subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 5-411, 5-412or 5-413.
